Dr. Deepak Purohit

I am Dr. Deepak Purohit, an experienced and qualified MBBS, MS in General Surgery, DNB in Gastrointestinal Surgery, and a Fellow in Hepatopancreaticobiliary Surgery and Oncology. I completed my super-specialization training at the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, in 2011, where I received comprehensive training in cancer surgeries.

Since the completion of my super-specialization, I have been fortunate to work with a wide variety of patients, focusing on complex surgeries related to the pancreas, gallbladder, colon, esophagus, and other abdominal organ cancers. Throughout my career, I’ve honed my skills in managing critical conditions and performing intricate surgeries aimed at improving the quality of life and providing long-term relief to patients suffering from these conditions.

In addition to performing complex surgeries, I also specialize in performing laparoscopic surgeries for benign diseases of the abdomen. These procedures are minimally invasive, allowing for faster recovery times, reduced pain, and improved overall outcomes for patients, which is why I have integrated them extensively into my practice.

With over 20 years of hands-on experience in the field of general and laparoscopic surgery, my expertise is focused on central India, where I have treated and managed a diverse range of patients, contributing to my deep understanding of the region’s healthcare needs.

Some of the key procedures I specialize in include shunt surgeries, and managing hydatid cysts in the liver. I am experienced in performing complex surgeries such as these, which require advanced knowledge, precision, and dedication.
